Leading backend architecture for Sonaroid's analytics platform, spanning payments infrastructure, personalization, and security.

Key contributions

• Architected a Netflix/Instagram-style recommendation algorithm that increased average session duration by 30%.
• Designed and built a multi-currency subscription and payments platform in NestJS and TypeScript, including:
  • Location-based pricing (NGN/USD) with 7.5% VAT computation
  • FX-rate locking at transaction time
  • Dual gateway integration (Paystack and Flutterwave) with auto-renewal via saved cards
  • A creator earnings ledger with per-event payout multipliers and available-balance accounting
  • An auditable withdrawal state machine (NEW → PROCESSING → APPROVED → PAID_OUT)
  • A coupon and discount engine
• Led AI-driven security protocol implementation across a 3-person engineering team.
• Built the backend (REST) powering Sonaroid's companion mobile app, with UI work in React.
